Walnut Excellence Education is one of the pioneers in India to introduce Abacus and Vedic mathematics in the E-Class & Animated form. We specialize in after-school / within-school activities for complete brain development.
Walnut programs are based on the play-way method & Learn with fun. We have well-trained and Skillful teachers who give equal attention to each student. With many years of research to make our content unique and creative, we proudly present interactive and easy ways to teach children in a fun and interesting way.
In addition to this, we also offer teacher training courses for undergraduates/teachers/ professionals who wish to begin their careers in the education field. Our Founders
Jitesh Gajra
Founder
A management professional in Marketing with keen enthusiasm and passion towards teaching Numbers and Arithmetic. Jitesh is also a Mass Media Graduate and started his Marketing & Media career with Times of India – NIE and worked with Big Bazaar, ICICI Prudential, and Angel Broking in his 7 years of a corporate career.
He developed a passion for carrying out mental calculations by observing his father, who was a part-time Oil trader. Mr. Jitesh started Walnut Excellence Education with his better half Jalpa Gajra, with an objective to evolve the passion of teaching young minds the importance of Arithmetic and Mental ability. His association with Times NIE, and focus on Content Research & Development, Women Empowerment helped him to shape various programs like Abacus, Foundation Abacus, Vedic Maths, MathOMagic, E-Class Abacus, Abacus Animation, and a unique Maths Olympiad i.e., National Maths & Arithmetic Competition (NMAC) and also English Phonics & Grammar.
Jalpa Jitesh Gajra
Co-founder
Post Graduated in Apparel Merchandising from Sasmira - Worli, Jalpa is keen on evolving Women Empowerment Program in Indian society. She coaches’ passionate teachers for developing the content of Brain Development programs like Abacus & Language development program Phonics.
She also conducts webinars, live demos to create awareness for upcoming Women Entrepreneurs. She is helping society to know more about the Brain Food program, which helps kids to apply Logics than just doing Calculations and have fun with Numbers.
Walnut's 8 years of the journey started with only 4 Direct Centers but now it has reached more than 60+ Centres, 100+ Schools & and 50+ Franchise partners who are majorly Women Entrepreneurs. Jalpa and her team are proud to say that Walnut has successfully touched upon 25000+ students of 1st to 8th standard for NMAC and various other programs.
